Dental Hygienist
Opal earned her Degree in Dental Hygiene at Farmingdale State University in 2003. She also holds a Business Management degree from Suffolk Community College. She grew up on Long Island and in New York City. Before joining the team at Hampton Implantology, she worked at various jobs that included retail sales and training coordinator at Home Depot, positions at bookstores in the city, assistant to an art dealer and as a nanny in London. She made the decision to change to a career that would impact peoples lives in a positive, healthy and helpful way and chose to return to school to earn her Degree in Dental Hygiene. It was one of the best decisions of her life, second only to marrying her husband, Bill, a custom carpenter. Her interests include people, humor, dentistry, reading, learning, antiques, domestic design, hiking, health and food. She currently lives in Ronkonkoma with Bill, a colony of neutered and spayed feral cats that came with the house and three rescued pit bulls. They have a second home in Delaware County New York where they spend weekends hiking, cooking, eating, exploring and relaxing with friends. Annette is a graduate of Boces in Bellport, NY. She graduated highest in her dental assistant program, and has been working in the dental field since 1992. Annette wears many hats here, and loves what she does. She shares a life with her daughter Reba, and loves spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies include: NASCAR, and being a part of Nextel Racing at Riverhead Raceway from April-October. Annette has been in the Racing life for many years and on pit crews.
